Taylor Swift has dismissed Dave Grohl’s suggestion that she and her band do not play live on tour.

Swift and the Foo Fighters performed in London over the weekend, and Grohl made mocking reference to Swift’s Eras Tour.

He told the crowd at the London Stadium on Saturday night: “I tell you, man, you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.

“We like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f----ing errors as well. Just a couple.

“That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying.”

On Sunday night,Swift hit back. On stage for her third night at Wembley Stadium, she paid tribute to her band.

Dave Grohl has previously given high praise to Taylor Swift, saying he was obsessed

Thanking fans for their support, she said: “Every one of my band members, every single one of our crew,my band who are gonna be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight – they deserve this so much.”

In the past,Grohl had praised Swift, saying in 2015: “I’m officially obsessed. She might want to get a restraining order because I’m all about Swift.”

Swift previously discussed her preparation for the three-and-a half-hour set, telling Time magazine in December that she had been in training for six months.

“Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set out loud. Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs,” she said.

“Then I had three months of dance training, because I wanted to get it in my bones. I wanted to be so over-rehearsed that I could be silly with the fans, and not lose my train of thought.”

Fans on Swift’s tour include the Prince of Wales, who attended the Wembley gig for his 42nd birthday and later posed for a selfie with the singer and his children,Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

During Sunday’s show,Swift was joined on-stage by her boyfriend,Kansas City Chiefs footballer Travis Kelce, who dressed up as a backing dancer in top hat and tails.
