Manchester United youngster Joe Hugill has lifted the lid on Ruud van Nistelrooy's influence of the attacking department following the Red Devils legends' return to the club as Erik ten Hag's assistant.
The 20-year-old grabbed United's second goal in a 2-0 win against Rangers at Murrayfield on Saturday,as the Old Trafford secured a victory in the second pre-season fixture.
Supporters would have been enthused to see new signing Leny Yoro for the first time but the fixture also showed early signs of Van Nistelrooy's influence on youngsters like Hugill, who spent part of last season on loan in League One with Burton Albion.
The Dutchman was again in the dug out on Saturday, following his appointment to Ten Hag's revamped backroom staff for the new campaign.
And Hugill revealed that the former PSV manager has been a great source of information even only a few weeks into his role.
